LOCATION:
Our church is located at 300 East Main Street in Newark, Delaware. Main Street is a one-way street and the church is after the Newark Emergency Center and just past Kelway Plaza on the right. The church's parking lot is behind the church, with handicapped spaces in front of the building.
CHILD CARE:
Child care is provided 9:30am-noon during the worship service, Fellowship Hour, and adult & youth Christian education so that adults may attend any or all of these events. Child care is also provided from 8:30-9:30am during choir practice for choir members who have children.
We have an infant/toddler room for ages newborn to 3 years. During the worship service, there is a Children's Time which is offered early in the service. This format gives the children ages 3-10 years old an opportunity to experience a portion of the service but then be able to go into the Kinderkirk Room for play and some structured activities. These two rooms are located right off of the main fellowship hall space next to the sanctuary.
Our Sunday School program is offered for preschool aged children on up through adults from 11am-noon. *Please note that during the summer months there is no Sunday School.
FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES:
There are large print copies of both the bulletin and hymns available from the greeters at the sanctuary doors. Just let the greeter know that you need the large-print versions and he or she will provide it for you. We also store a wheelchair in the storage room behind the toddler room. If it is needed, please feel free to ask for assistance or have a friend or assistant get it for you. Handicapped parking spaces are available in front of the church.
